I just came across a beautiful wooden dock available on Etsy that can be used for either the Kindle or the Nook. It doesn’t mention the Kindle DX and whether it would fit, but it is worth checking into. What a neat idea. There aren’t many docking stations out there that is custom made for the furniture it sits on. Supply is limited, and it is not mass produced. The Kindle dock comes in a variety of wood and finishes: cherry, hard maple, oak, hand painted marble and rusty metal.
You can view more information about the Kindle dock here. Each dock is $18.
Just so you know, the $18 is just the shipping costs. The item itself appears to be $55.
Still, very very pretty and worth the cost if you want a way to display your Kindle in style.
The price in the Etsy shop is $55, not $18. Nice, but a little steep.
The shipping to the US is $18. The cost of the dock is $55.
I was “Oh my only 18 bucks!” and whipped out my check card. But yeah its 55 bucks. Easy mistake to make tho. That sites layout is kinda odd.
Thank you for pointing that out! Somehow I missed the $55 on the side of the screen.
