My Sony Reader Touch Edition just came in by UPS. I’ve already unpacked it and currently wait for the device to charge. I’ll post the comparison review soon…
Very interested in what you have to say – especially re: annotation and note-taking ability, with emphasis on PDF format. I am an academic, and got the Kindle DX specifically to read research papers in PDF format. Due to the lack of annotation ability, I’m forced to take notes in a notebook or on my laptop, which really limits the utility of reading the papers on the Kindle.
I’m also very concerned about the glare/clarity issues associated with the touchscreen layer. As someone who has lots of experience with the Kindle, how would you say this compares? Thanks!
